About the Role

Our client, a leading electrical contracting company, is seeking a seasoned Electrical Installation Project Manager to oversee projects in the Kimberley , Northern Cape region. This role is critical for ensuring the successful execution of electrical installation projects from inception to completion, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. You will be responsible for coordinating installation teams, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. This position operates on a hybrid model, requiring regular engagement at project sites and the company's Kimberley office, while allowing for some remote administrative work. We are looking for a leader with strong technical knowledge and proven project management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize electrical installation projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management strategies.
• Manage and supervise on-site electrical installation teams, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation methods, and project management principles.
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Must be willing to work a hybrid schedule, involving regular on-site presence in Kimberley and project locations, as well as remote administrative tasks.
