Placements24 is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Installation Electrician to join our client in Kimberley, Northern Cape. You will install, test, and Commission electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings, following blueprints and safety standards.

The role requires 4+ years' installation experience, proficiency with wiring, distribution panels, and control circuits, plus a valid Wireman's License and clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician certification (Wireman's License) recognized in SA.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience as an installation electrician in commercial/industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of electrical theory, installation methods, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.

Responsabilités

• Install, connect, and test electrical wiring, systems, conduits, and components in accordance with electrical codes and blueprints.
• Install and wire lighting systems, power outlets, distribution panels, and control equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical systems to identify and resolve faults.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Ensure all installations are performed safely and comply with relevant building codes and industry standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair on electrical systems and equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
• Document installation activities, materials used, and any encountered issues.

• Must be able to work in the Kimberley area and potentially travel to surrounding regions.
• A valid driver's license is required.
