Job summary

Laurentide is seeking an Electrical Instrumentation & Control Technician to perform preventive maintenance, install, troubleshoot and repair industrial instrumentation and control equipment across Quebec sites. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will join the maintenance team and support a variety of projects for our customers.

This role offers flexible schedules including regular daytime hours, 7/7 or 14/14 rotations, and fly‑in assignments when required.

Qualifications

• Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Electrical Engineering Technology or related diploma.
• Experience in industrial instrumentation and control.
• Class C Licence (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
• Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities.
• Written and verbal communication in French; English would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance work orders.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair instrumentation and control equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and customer representatives.
• Accurately complete timesheets, service reports and all required documentation.
• Travel to customer sites across Quebec.
