Western Integrated Electrical is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead and supervise electrical crews on commercial, residential, and institutional projects throughout the Lower Mainland in British Columbia.

The role requires reading blueprints, ensuring safety and code compliance, coordinating planning and materials, and mentoring team members. Compensation ranges from $48.00 to $53.00 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package and RRSP matching.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Foreman in Lower Mainland BC.
• Proven experience leading and supervising electrical crews on diverse projects.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and drawings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electrical crews, ensuring efficient and safe work practices.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide on-the-job training and guidance to crew members.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations (e.g., Canadian Electrical Code, WorkSafeBC), and company policies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to understand project requirements.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Order and manage materials and equipment.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets project specifications and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation, including daily reports, time sheets, and material requisitions.
• Investigate and address safety concerns promptly, ensuring a safe work environment for all crew members.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems as they arise.
• Promote a positive and productive work environment.

Western Integrated Electrical builds, installs, maintains, and commissions electrical systems throughout locations across the lower mainland. We complete a variety of electrical installations which can be located at YVR, hospitals, industrial facilities, commercial buildings and in many local municipal facilities. We partner with our clients across the lower mainland to solve their most pressing challenges including design build projects and custom solutions. Distribution and lighting upgrades. Conveyor and machine installations.

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Chargehand to join our team of professionals.

Summary

What we need from you:

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and drawings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
