What You Will Do

• Estimate project costs and changes, and submit tenders
• Review contracts for onerous clauses and conditions.
• Maintain good relationship with suppliers, consultants, general contractors and end users.
• Identify potential business opportunities with customers.
• Purchase materials and equipment.
• Work with Operations Manager, and Service Electricians to develop work and small project scheduling.
• Manage project financial performance, including billing responsibilities.
• Manage the project and be present on project sites on a regular basis.
• Arrange for project manuals/Power quality reports to be completed.
• Review the project at completion with the foreman and superintendent to discuss successes and challenges.
• Performs other duties as required.
  
  

What You Will Bring

• Electrical trade certificate, Electrical Engineering degree or Electrical Technologist diploma/certificate.
• Strong Knowledge of the CSA Electrical Code
• 5 years' experience in Electrical Estimating, and/or Project Management
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good computer skills and proficient in MS Office (word, excel, outlook, etc.).
• Experience in Accubid is an asset.
• FSR A or B certificate is an asset.
• Experience with high voltage and preventative maintenance work, also an asset.
• Ability to provide own transportation to and from work.
