Responsibilities

  1. Gather data and assist in preparing bid proposal estimates and design/build proposals.
  2. Perform take-offs from drawings; price change orders; conduct site visits to understand project constructability.
  3. Understand plans and specifications to identify materials and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  4. Apply cost fundamentals; maintain accurate pricing information from supplies and contractors.
  5. Prepare bid packages and obtain pricing from subcontractors and vendors.
  6. Familiarity with electrical equipment, materials, and specifications.
  7. Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
  8. Experience with contract documents such as drawings, subcontracts, and addenda.
  9. Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles for electrical plans and drawings.
  10. Develop goals and plans to organize and accomplish work efficiently.
  11. Generate high-quality work.
  12. Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve common goals.
  13. Successfully pass a background check.
  14. Working knowledge of Accubid and BIM is a plus.

Qualifications

  1. 0+ years experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering).
  2. 4+ years of experience with an Associate’s Degree.
  3. 6+ years experience with a high school diploma or GED.

  2. Sitting for long periods.
