• Calculate labor, material, and equipment costs, factoring in all necessary components.
• Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and other team members to gather information and refine estimates.
• Perform cost comparisons and recommend strategies to improve cost-effectiveness.
• Track project progress, monitor budgets, and make adjustments as needed.
• Prepare and submit bid proposals by deadlines.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather additional information on project scope.

Qualifications

• Education : High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Experience : 3+ years of experience in electrical estimating or similar role in construction.
