Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering and in good academic standing
- Team player with a safety-first mindset
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Long-term interest in an engineering career
Responsibilities:
Tasks may include:
- Collaborating with contractors and mill personnel to determine scope, planning, and execution of work packages for mill operations.
- Developing detailed scopes of work for installations related to scan card access systems, 120 V – 600 V temporary construction power, IT connections including wireless access points, switches, and cameras.
- Working with software such as AutoCAD, PowerPoint, Excel, and other Document Management Software.
- Overseeing installations of low to medium voltage electrical equipment, building services components, instrumentation, etc., while ensuring schedule and budget adherence, and monitoring job quality and safety.
- Assisting Systems Engineers with maintenance, programming, and configuration of Mill Control Systems.
