Job Overview

SOL Engineering Services, LLC is an engineering and technical services provider with over 19 years of experience. Our team of approximately 100 engineers, scientists, and project managers delivers high-quality, responsive services across the U.S. We are currently seeking a qualified Mid-Level Electrical Engineer with FEMA Public Assistance experience to support disaster recovery efforts nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and project management for FEMA disaster recovery projects.
• Assist communities in rebuilding infrastructure damaged by natural disasters.
• Work in remote locations and be ready to mobilize within 24-48 hours.
• Support the development of grant applications for Federal Public Assistance Funding.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
• At least 10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• FEMA Public Assistance deployment experience (1+ years) at regional, state, or local levels.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• U.S. citizen, able to pass FBI background check, and possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in various locations, including remote and disaster sites.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and computer operations.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with FEMA Public Assistance programs and related trainings.
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Experience in infrastructure design, construction, or maintenance.
