Your Role

We are currently seeking a Junior Electrical Substation Design Engineer for our Mississauga, Ontario office. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Responsibilities
  • Under the supervision of more senior engineers, prepare steady state and transient studies using ETAP, SKM, PSSE, CDEGS or PSCAD. Prepare studies such as load flow, short circuit, Arc Flash, grounding, TOV, Corona, EMF, induction studies, etc.
  • Prepare layouts, elevation views, grounding, lighting, lightning, installation details drawings and any other drawings required by the requirements of the projects.
  • Prepare study reports that are clear and well written.
Qualifications
  • University degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working in consulting.
  • Possess good communication skills (client relations, team project communications, and proposal and report development).
Additional Information

A requirement of working for Tetra Tech is that you are at least 18 years of age and legally entitled to work in Canada. (A copy of a valid work permit may be required.)
