Job summary

TWD is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer in Burlington, ON to contribute to the design, development and delivery of electrical engineering solutions across mining, energy and infrastructure projects. You will work within multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective engineering outcomes while upholding quality and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 4–9 years of relevant electrical engineering experience in consulting, EPC, or industrial environments.
• Experience in Mining, Energy, or Infrastructure sectors is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and design standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review electrical engineering designs, calculations, specs, drawings and documentation.
• Support power distribution, equipment sizing, cable sizing, grounding, lighting calculations.
• Prepare single-line diagrams, schematics, and layouts.
• Ensure designs meet codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
