Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Canada is seeking an Electrical Engineer-in-Training to actively contribute to major electrical engineering projects. You will collaborate with engineers and designers, assisting in design deliverables and site inspections. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and is committed to strong communication and safety standards. Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in engineering.
- Ability to draft technical documents in both languages.
- A valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with engineers and drafters.
- Assist in the preparation of design deliverables.
- Assist in site inspections and testing.
Skills
Strong communication skills
Interpersonal skills
Relationship-building skills
Familiarity with electrical schematics
Knowledge of MS Office
Knowledge of power systems (HV, MV, LV)
Advanced English skills
Advanced French skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
Member in good standing with EGBC and registered as an EIT
Tools
Electrical study software (PSCAD, PSSE, CYME, EMTP-RV)
