Verathon is looking for an Electrical Engineer II to become the newest member of our Visualization Business R&D Team located in Burnaby, British Columbia.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineeringor similar qualification
- Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- EIT from the EGBC preferred; ability and willingness to obtain a EIT license required *
- Good practical knowledge of schematic and PCB design, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to contribute to complete system design with reliable and efficient solutions
- Ability to communicate medium complexity tasks with another disciplines, such as mechanical and software
- Detail oriented, well organized, and interested in the latest technology
- Skilled at using various engineering lab equipment and tools, such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent documentation proficiency
- Experience in the field of medical devices is preferred
*For applicants without an Engineer in Training or a Professional Engineer license, an alternative title will be used until a license is obtained.
