Job description

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Provides engineering project design and support for renewable energy projects (wind, solar, battery storage, etc.).
• Works with the Senior and Lead Project Engineers to manage third-party project engineering firms and coordinate with Blattner Internal Engineering and other stakeholders.
• Assists with the design, development, and testing of electrical components and/or systems, and participates in the installation process of project designs to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborates with the Senior Electrical Engineer to manage bid designs, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements from clients, company standards, and industry codes.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related field from an ABET-accredited college.
• At minimum, the candidate should hold an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certificate, or be able to obtain one within 6 months of hire (preferred).

WHAT WILL SET YOU APART

• Previous experience in engineering and/or electrical or mechanical construction in related industries (e.g., electrical, mechanical, heavy civil, industrial, utilities, power generation) is preferred.
• Experience with construction and electrical engineering is a plus.

Salary range: $67,338.00 - $97,640.00, based on experience and qualifications.
