Electrical Engineer – Building Services

Are you an experienced Electrical Building Services Design Engineer seeking your next career move? What You’ll Be Doing

• Playing a key role in the delivery of building services design projects from concept through to completion.
• Being client-facing, technically hands-on, and supported by a collaborative team of professionals.
• Developing detailed electrical designs and tender packages.
• Preparing specifications, reports, cost plans, and technical documentation.
• Coordinating with clients, contractors, and other design teams.
• Leading or contributing to projects through all RIBA stages.
• Supporting proposals, resource planning, and project programming.
• Providing mentorship to junior engineers and sharing technical knowledge.
• Staying up to date with regulations, design standards, and best practices.

What We’re Looking For

• A background in Electrical Building Services Design (HND/Degree qualified).
• Experience across multiple sectors, ideally including healthcare, education, and commercial.
• Knowledge of key industry software and design standards.
• Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills.
• CIBSE membership or working toward it.
• A proactive, solution-focused mindset.
