Position: Electrical Engineer

We count on you to:

  • Provide electrical design and coordinate with the electrical design team on large data centre, institutional, and industrial projects from schematic design through contract document phases.
  • Participate in meetings and reviews with governing agencies for code compliance.
  • Coordinate workload to ensure timely completion of documents.
  • Conduct work sessions at project sites with the Project Manager and other disciplines.
  • Review electrical documents for conflicts with other disciplines.
  • Write/edit electrical specifications and select equipment, systems, and devices.
  • Coordinate with affected disciplines on addenda, RFIs, CPRs, change orders, and incorporate changes into project documents.
  • Provide construction contract administration as needed.
  • Perform QA/QC on the work of other electrical team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in electrical design of buildings in North America, preferably with data centre or hospital projects (lighting, power, systems).
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
  • Experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting, power, systems).
  • Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the position's location (e.g., PE or P.Eng).
  • Strong computer skills using AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, SKM, AGI, and Easy Power.
