Electrical Engineer

We’re excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as an Electrical Engineer, P.Eng.

In this role, you’ll make a direct impact by designing, implementing, and optimizing electrical systems in substations, facilities, and industrial environments.

Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

1. Designing and overseeing the installation of high-voltage power distribution systems and substations.
2. Conducting system studies, including load flow, short circuit analysis, and protection coordination.
3. Developing electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and wiring layouts.
4. Performing power system modeling and simulations.
5. Ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
6. Collaborating with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
7. Conducting site inspections and providing technical support during commissioning and maintenance.

Mandatory Requirements:

1. P.Eng designation in Electrical Engineering
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in high-voltage power systems, substations, and facilities.
3. Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (CSA, IEEE, NEC, etc.).
4. Hands-on experience with power system design and analysis tools.
5. An understanding of PLCs and industrial automation.
6. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
7. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Location: Niagara, Ontario

Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000
