How you'll make a difference :

• Work collaboratively alongside electrical engineers and technologists in designing lighting, power, security, fire alarm, communications, and data infrastructure systems for various types of buildings
• Work in a multi-disciplinary practice with architects, interior designers, structural and mechanical engineers to create integrated and highly sustainable design solutions for a wide variety of building types
• Prepare high quality BIM (Revit) models and engineering drawings for lighting, power, security, fire alarm and ICT systems for various types of buildings
• Assist in the preparation of engineering studies and construction documents
• Be involved in all phases of projects, from concept design through to completion of construction
• Ensure schedules, budgets, and quality control standards are achieved and maintained by working with integrated team members
• Provide design support for contract administration during construction phase of the projects

Who you are :

• University Degree in Electrical Engineering. Registered P.Eng desired, though EIT’s with relevant work experience will be considered
• 4 - 8 years of Electrical Engineering experience in the AEC Industry
• Knowledge of power distribution system, fire safety, lighting, security systems, voice and data communication systems
• Strong preference will be given to candidates who possess BIM expertise and proficiency in Revit software
• Knowledge of building and electrical Codes and Standards for large buildings
• Ability to work under pressure, adapt, and manage multiple project deadlines
• Willing to learn and grow within a team-oriented and collaborative design environment
• Able to receive and deliver constructive and positive feedback effectively
• Self-motivated and organized with strong attention to detail
• Flexibility to travel for regular site visits
