Job Title: Electrical EIT Job Description

This position requires a solid command of AutoCAD and Excel, along with a willingness to learn and think creatively. Initially, the role will focus on operational tasks, but as the model is established, the candidate will engage in more project-related work and receive further training in electrical design and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical load calculations.
• Develop electrical schematics, single line diagrams, and wiring diagrams.
• Create cable schedules and power system designs.
• Perform voltage drop calculations.

Essential Skills

• One year of experience or equivalent co‑op experience.

Work Environment

The role is based in a small downtown office with approximately four full‑time team members and one part‑time member. The office environment is characterized by autonomy and a supportive manager who fosters a positive, mutually beneficial work culture. You will work closely with another engineer, receiving direction and collaborating on projects.

This is a Contract position based out of Calgary, AB.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
