Electrical Designer

Aversan Inc. (www.aversan.com) is a trusted multi-service engineering and electronics manufacturing company. Aversan delivers leading-edge and reliable safety-critical electronics and software systems to the aerospace, defence, and space industries.

We are currently seeking a qualified Electrical Designer. The role involves designing electrical systems, including cables and wiring diagrams, while collaborating with internal teams and customers to meet project requirements. Strong CAD, PLM, and communication skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities, are essential for success.

Location: St. Laurent, QC

Job Type: Hybrid

Responsibilities
  1. Be part of a team responsible for electrical design.
  2. Participate in the analysis of drawings, specifications and requirements for both internal and external customers.
  3. Participate in design activities between different engineering groups and manufacturing.
  4. Responsible for designing cables, cable indices and wiring diagrams.
  5. Find technical solutions to meet the requirements of the projects.
  6. Support the manufacturing team.
  7. Participate in continuous improvement activities.
Basic Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (minimum 5 years).
  2. Mastery of electrical engineering concepts.
  3. Mastery of CAD systems and word processing software and spreadsheets.
  4. Mastery of PLM systems.
  5. Excellent team spirit and good communication skills.
  6. Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  7. Ability to manage priorities in a context of multiple and complex deliveries.
  8. Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
