Currently, SENER is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Lead to join our Montreal office (hybrid work model), with visits to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Coordination:
   • Coordinate the activities of the electrical design team.
   • Interface with clients and stakeholders to agree on optimal design solutions.
   • Coordinate design activities with other engineering disciplines and project team members.
   • Ensure project schedules are adhered to.
2. Technical Expertise:
   • Define basis of design and provide technical criteria for electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, grounding, bonding, lightning protection, etc.).
   • Prepare conceptual and detailed engineering designs for electrical systems in railway and transit projects (stations, EEBs, tunnels, etc.).
   • Review documents and drawings produced by the electrical team.
   • Maintain strong knowledge of relevant standards (CSA, OBC, NFPA, IEEE).

Qualifications:

1. A degree in Electrical Engineering.
2. Professional Engineer license in Quebec.
3. 7-10 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically in railway and transit project design.
