Job description

Roska DBO Inc. is seeking an Electrical Coordinator to join our team in Grande Prairie. This role is ideal for a Journeyman Electrician who’s ready to take their expertise beyond the tools—combining commissioning, troubleshooting, and operational optimization with leadership and coordination responsibilities.

We welcome electricians who have strong knowledge of mechanical systems and are eager to work in a multi-discipline environment. If you can mentor others, lead commissioning activities, and support operational readiness, this position will give you both hands-on work and strategic influence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning and start-up of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems
• Troubleshoot SCADA systems, electrical distribution, and facility power systems
• Support operational optimization projects alongside mechanical and operations teams
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to maintenance and operations personnel
• Develop and review electrical SOPs, maintenance manuals, and readiness documentation
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment, safety, and compliance

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician certification (Red Seal preferred)
• Strong electrical expertise with solid working knowledge of mechanical systems
• Oil & Gas industry experience, including SCADA and plant systems
• Experience in facility commissioning, start-up, and equipment testing
• Effective communicator and problem solver with mentoring ability
• Ability to work across disciplines and manage multiple priorities
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
