Mars Petcare in Melton Mowbray is seeking an Electrical & Controls Technician to ensure safe, reliable operation of high-speed processing equipment. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated machinery, while supporting continuous improvement and project work.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or equivalent with BS7671 knowledge.
• Experience with automated electro-mechanical machinery.
• Strong problem-solving and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, test, and modify automated equipment.
• Apply engineering principles to resolve production issues.
• Develop and track maintenance metrics.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/Kaizen).
• Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis on major breakdowns.
