Job summary

Allnorth is seeking a senior Project Manager to deliver Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (EIC) projects, serving as the primary client contact and leading planning, budgeting, and scheduling. The successful candidate will work with E&IC engineering teams to deliver electrical, instrumentation, automation, controls, and functional safety for infrastructure, energy, and mining sectors.

This full-time role is based in Calgary and/or Edmonton with hybrid work requiring a minimum of three

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in E&IC engineering, construction, or technical services.
• 5+ years of project management experience in an E&IC engineering, technical services, or consulting environment.
• Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling, and cost tracking.
• Excellent oral and written communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Organized, proactive, and solution-focused approach.
• PMP or comparable formal project management training is an asset.
• Based in the Calgary or Edmonton area and able to travel to client offices as required.
• Class 5 driver's license and lawful entitlement to work in Canada.

This role is dedicated to executing and delivering Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (E&IC) projects, serving as the primary point of contact for clients and leading project planning, budgeting, and scheduling. The successful candidate will work closely with E&IC engineering teams to deliver electrical, instrumentation, automation, controls, and functional safety for clients in the infrastructure, energy, and mining sectors, while supporting E&IC initiatives across Allnorth's wider operation

As the primary point of contact for assigned projects, you will coordinate internal teams, manage scope, schedule, and budgets, and ensure client expectations are consistently met. Success in this role is driven by strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to lead diverse technical teams toward a common goal.

This is a full time role based out of our Calgary and/or Edmonton office. Allnorth allows for hybrid work arrangements, but the expectation would be for a minimum of three days per week in the office.

• Support and mentor new project managers and project coordinators to help them develop their skills

• A proven self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude who is motivated by solving complex challenges.
• A strong client-focused approach, dedicated to providing exceptional client experiences to our internal and external customers.
• Registration as a professional engineer or eligibility for registration is considered an asset.
• Class 5 driver's license.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
