Job summary

Artemis Gold is seeking an Electrical and Controls Project Engineer to lead design, planning, and commissioning of electrical and controls systems for the Blackwater project in Vancouver. This role requires deep expertise in HV/LV distribution, PLC/DCS/SCADA integration, and multi‑disciplinary collaboration with EPCM teams.

You will ensure compliance with CEC and industry standards, oversee in‑house and contractor deliverables, and support construction through to operations on a 12‑hour shift

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Professional engineering designation (P.Eng.) in British Columbia.
• 5+ years of electrical engineering design experience in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to detailed design for site infrastructure, process plant, water management, camp, and power systems.
• Oversee electrical reticulation design including HV/LV distribution.
• Perform and oversee FATs and SATs for electrical/automation systems.
• Provide commissioning support and PLC/HMI development integration with SCADA.
