Who are we looking for?

Our Engineering Design Organization seeks a proactive, collaborative professional with a can-do attitude, thriving in an agile, fast-paced environment. Based in one of our GTA offices, you will support the Power & Lighting team on projects involving traffic signals, street lighting, and power distribution systems.

This role involves:

• Managing projects related to traffic signalization and street lighting, with potential expansion into electrical distribution systems
• Contract administration
• Preparing specifications, schedules, cost estimates, and bid analyses
• Conducting field investigations and inspections
• Coordinating with clients, authorities, and utility companies
• Collaborating with internal design teams
• Project management
• Maintaining inspection documentation and checklists
• Drafting and designing using MicroStation or AutoCAD, depending on workload

Qualifications:

• College diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or degree in Electrical Engineering
• Working towards Certified IMSA Traffic Signals Inspector designation
• At least 3 years of experience with traffic signals systems testing and commissioning
• Proficiency with MicroStation, AutoCAD / ACC
• Knowledge of industry standards including Ontario Electrical Safety Code, AODA, Ontario Traffic Manual OTM Book 7, 12, 12A, and TAC guidelines
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects
• Attention to detail and sound judgment
• Independent work capability
• Excellent computer skills
• G class driver’s license
