Job summary

S&C Electric Canada is hiring an Assembler – MES for a production environment. You will assemble electrical components, follow schematics, and use ERP systems to track materials and close jobs. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and collaboration with a diverse team.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of electrical assembly experience in manufacturing.
• Precise, delicate manual skills with small parts.
• Ability to read basic blueprints, BOLs, and electrical schematics.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate quantities.
• Ability to work independently and meet material requests.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Basic computer skills to respond via internal applications.
• Basic math skills for measurements and weights.
• Team-oriented and able to mentor others.
• Safe use of hand/power tools and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble moderately complex electrical components with multiple pieces and steps.
• Cut, strip, crimp, and label wires per schematics and assembly instructions.
• Mount components while bending conduit and routing cables neatly.
• Inspect components and assemblies for correct part placement and wiring.
• Maintain accurate records of tasks, deviations, and quality concerns.
• Follow safety protocols and report hazards promptly.
• Read blueprints, BOMs, and schematics to guide work.
• Use ERP and internal systems to close jobs and request materials.
• Mentor less experienced team members and contribute to training.
