You will be reporting to the Mine Maintenance Planning General Supervisor and will be part of the Mine Maintenance Planning Team. You will ensure that planning strategies and deliverables are aligned with the reliability strategy and long-term operational goals You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Translate reliability strategies into executable maintenance plans for fixed plant and mobile electrical & instrumentation assets
- Develop and optimize preventive maintenance (PM) task lists and job plans, including electrical, instrumentation and control system scope
- Prepare and maintain detailed Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans and task lists for both fixed and mobile E&I assets, ensuring appropriate frequencies are applied
- Develop Standard Job Plans (SJPs) and work instructions aligned with operational procedures and safety protocols, including work scope, permits, schematics, and prints
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and initiate service-related purchase requisitions (PRs)
- Support capital project planning by providing Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) documentation
- Forecast and monitor labor, contractor, and material demands based on upcoming work
- Contribute to the development and ongoing tracking of annual OPEX and CAPEX maintenance budgets
- Maintain and update rolling 1-month, 3-month and a 52-week maintenance plan
- Provide data and reports to monitor budget consumption and maintenance performance metrics
- Prepare and support commissioning readiness PM plans and define critical spare parts for new equipment
- Assemble complete job packages including scope of work, safety permits, technical prints, and documentation
- Ensure that instrumentation and control systems are fully integrated into planning documents and maintenance workflows
- Coordinate with Procurement and Contracts for material availability and third-party support
- Backfill mobile/fixed planners when needed to ensure continuity
- Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Instrumentation, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in E&I maintenance planning, ideally in both fixed plant and mobile equipment
- Proficiency in CMMS (SAP/JDE) and maintenance planning tools
- Strong knowledge of medium voltage motors, VFDs, substations, transformers, instrumentation systems, and ventilation fans
- Experience in muck circuit plants, conveyors, hoists (cage and skip) and battery-electric mobile equipment such as jumbos, scoops and trucks

- Schedule: 4 days on-site by 3 days off, at our Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON.
