About The Role

The eLearning Developer / LMS Administrator will be a key member of Moncel's Courseware team, responsible for creating engaging online courses, managing the LMS, and supporting our compliance training offerings in the food and hospitality industry.

This role involves developing interactive eLearning content, configuring and maintaining the LMS, and ensuring courses meet compliance standards across Canada, US, and Australia. The successful candidate will collaborate with product, marketing, and technology teams, working remotely with occasional in-person meetings in Toronto, Canada.

By ensuring timely course updates and high-quality delivery, this role directly contributes to Moncel’s mission of expanding its online training offerings and maintaining industry leadership.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Developing and updating online courses using Storyline Articulate, including interactive activities, quizzes, and multimedia content.
• Configuring courses in Moodle LMS, including setting up enrollments, question banks, HTML enhancements, and managing user access.
• Conducting unit testing of course content to ensure accuracy and compliance before QA review.
• Uploading and managing content on Digital Ocean / AWS servers for secure delivery.
• Maintaining compliance standards across all courses for US, Canadian, and Australian market approvals.
• Collaborating across teams to meet project deadlines and support new course launches.
• Configuring product integrations with Magento, Shopify, Salesforce, and Formstack.
• Creating short animations and recording text-to-speech files to enhance engagement and accessibility.
• Contributing to tech stack evaluation and process improvements for course delivery efficiency.

What You Have

• 5+ years experience with Storyline Articulate for eLearning development.
• 5+ years experience with Moodle LMS, including course configuration and user management.
• Strong HTML skills for customization and troubleshooting.
• Experience with text-to-speech tools (e.g., Murf) and animation software (e.g., Vyond).
• Proficiency in GSuite, Jira, and Confluence for collaboration.
• Ability to perform thorough unit testing and maintain attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and time management skills.
• Experience with Magento, Shopify, Salesforce, and Formstack is a plus.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field.
• Certifications in Storyline Articulate or Moodle are highly valued.
• Commitment to continuous professional development in eLearning and instructional design.
• Portfolio showcasing interactive content and LMS projects.
