Your role and responsibilities

ABB’s Electrification Global Markets organization is responsible for the go-to-market strategy in over 100 countries where the Electrification Business Area operates. Our 10,000 sales & marketing employees connect customers and partners to our innovative portfolio of products, services, and solutions. Our domain expertise and global footprint enable us to support customers with solutions that address current needs and anticipate future trends such as urbanization, digitalization, and the shift to sustainable energy. Our Marketing, Sales, and Product Management teams play a key role in how ABB’s technologies contribute to a more productive and sustainable future. Helping customers worldwide improve efficiency, reliability, and productivity while reducing emissions gives our work a powerful sense of purpose.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Suggesting products and competitor equivalents to external sales, distributors, and contractors/users.
  2. Providing technical support (Level 1).
  3. Collaborating with the outside sales team to review and utilize SPA's (Special Pricing Agreements).
  4. Preparing bids and assisting with pricing within mandated timeframes.
  5. Providing customer and market information to sales and marketing teams.
  6. Working with customer service for order resolution.
  7. Assisting and supporting team members.
Qualifications for the role
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar environment.
  • Experience in a B2B company.
  • Strong sales and customer service orientation.
  • Comfortable with multiple computer systems.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and file management skills; able to handle multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Motivated to learn and improve.
  • Ability to follow procedures and suggest improvements.
  • Recognizes when escalation is necessary.
