Job summary

WSP in Levis, Quebec is seeking an experienced Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls Team Lead to guide the EIC discipline on industrial and mining projects across Québec and Canada. You will lead multidisciplinary collaboration and uphold technical excellence.

You’ll mentor engineers, manage resources and budgets, support business development, and coordinate with clients and contractors. A Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 10+ years’ experience are required; ASP card and a valid

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in industrial or mining electrical engineering.
• Experience leading teams within engineering consulting (asset).
• Experience in business development (asset).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• ASP Construction safety card (mandatory) and valid driver’s licence.
• Excellent communication skills; bilingualism an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee safety considerations for the team and projects.
• Manage human and financial resources to support objectives.
• Serve as the primary technical resource and mentor for the EIC team.
• Drive QA processes and uphold technical excellence across deliverables.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated solutions.
• Support project managers in defining scope, planning schedules, and milestones.
• Participate in business development and client engagement activities.
• Coordinate tendering processes and evaluate contractor submissions.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and contractors throughout project phases.
