Job summary

Flex-N-Gate is a leading automotive components manufacturer seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator to develop and administer companywide safety programs, including ISO management, across multiple divisions. The role entails coordinating safety initiatives, training, and evaluations to ensure regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates bring ten years of safety experience, university or college credentials, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a related field; or equivalent.
• Ten years safety-related manufacturing experience.
• Certification in OHSA/occupational safety is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety orientation, training, site inspections, and reporting.
• Monitor OHSA amendments and regulations; implement recommendations.
• Conduct hazard analyses and write safe work procedures.
• Ensure adherence to safety programs by employees and subcontractors.
• Develop and conduct safety training on WHMIS, Fall Protection, PPE, CPR/First Aid.
