Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, train, and support the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Optimize and configure the EHR system, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective utilization of Epic applications to enhance patient care and operational efficiencies.
• Perform complex design and analysis tasks related to hospital business operations.
• Mentor and guide other analysts, fostering their professional growth.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Informatics, Nursing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Certification in Epic applications (e.g., Epic Ambulatory, Epic Inpatient, Epic Revenue Cycle) with all certifications obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Four (4) years of experience supporting Epic EHR applications.
• Proficiency in Epic system configuration, customization, and optimization.
• Strong understanding of hospital operations, clinical workflows, and IT applications in healthcare.
• Computer skills including Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in analysis, process design, workflow, installation, and support of EHR systems.
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and customer service orientation.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and take calls as needed.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with multiple Epic applications in EMR implementations/support.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• PMP Certification.

The estimated annual total compensation ranges from $94,993.60 to $137,280.00, specific to California. Exact starting salary will depend on experience, education, and credentials.
