WAJAX is seeking an EHS Ontario Manager to enhance our health and safety initiatives across Ontario branches. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in occupational health and safety, focus on compliance, manage a dedicated team, and drive program development. Reporting to the EHSQ Director, the EHS Ontario Manager will assist in the development, administration, and promotion of the company’s Environmental, Health, and Safety policies and programs. Provides direct support to Wajax branches and manages a team of Advisors in Ontario.
The Role
The Candidate
Education : University Degree, Occupational Health & Safety Certificate, CRSP or related accreditation
Work Experience : 7-10 years in occupational health and safety, experience in construction, mining or heavy equipment industries
Knowledge : auditing worksites, incident investigation, developing and implementing policies and programs; OHS legislation and industry standards
Proficiency : Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
