We are currently recruiting a BILINGUAL ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY BUSINESS PARTNER for our Becancour, QC client.

Position: Environment Health & Safety Business Partner

You will be responsible for managing the Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) functions at the Becancour Oilseed Processing Facility and Montreal Grain Terminal. Your role will involve implementing and supporting EH&S programs to ensure effective risk management, regulatory compliance, and proactive safety strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and provide technical support for safety, health, and environmental standards, programs, and procedures.
  2. Manage, coordinate, and conduct corporate environment, health, and safety risk management activities, including risk assessments of facilities.
  3. Implement disaster recovery plans and document recovery procedures.
  4. Collaborate with operations personnel to foster a safety-oriented culture through coaching, motivation, and mentorship, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
  5. Contribute to the design, construction, and operation of facilities and equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
  6. Provide technical support for emergency response and assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining emergency response capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in English and French.
  • Experience in environmental health and safety management within industrial or processing facilities.
  • Knowledge of EH&S regulations and standards.
