Job summary

MADO CAFE in North York, ON is hiring a Dishwasher. The role is permanent, full-time, with day, evening, weekend shifts and mornings as needed. Ideal candidates are self-motivated with good English, able to work quickly in a fast-paced kitchen, and willing to join at the earliest date.

The position offers steady hours and a supportive team environment. Salary is CAD 17.20–17.21 per hour for 40 hours per week; three vacancies are available.

Qualifications

• English language fluency required.
• Secondary school graduation required.
• Experience in a related role for 1–7 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables.
• Operate dishwashers to clean dishes, glasses, and flatware.
• Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cabinets, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash regularly.
• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
