Job summary

Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd. in Toronto is seeking a kitchen support/dishwashing role within the MLSE Culinary team.

You will ensure all pots, pans, trays, china, silverware, glassware and small wares are cleaned and sanitized, and you will assist other kitchen staff to keep products and supplies ready for service. The position offers an $19.50 per hour rate, with evening, weekend and holiday shifts required.

Qualifications

• Punctual, dependable and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Previous kitchen experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Clean pots, pans, trays, china, silverware, glassware, and small wares, and keep them ready for presentation.
• Assist in ensuring product and supplies are available and that equipment is clean for use.
• Operate and clean conveyor dishwashing machines and pot washers safely and efficiently.
• Sweep and mop floors, clean counters and shelves, and manage recycling and waste.
• Assist in receiving and storage of incoming product and delivery of supplies to proper areas.
• Comply with MLSE service standards and Health & Safety policies.
