Burrard Acura is currently seeking a Sales Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Establish long- and short-term goals for sales staff as directed by the General Manager.
- Guide salespeople in setting their objectives.
- Recommend new car inventory based on sales rate and current inventory.
- Set gross objectives for salespeople.
- Assist in forecasting controllable expenses for the department.
- Set and monitor weekly sales objectives.
- Ensure understanding and enforcement of dealership policies.
- Evaluate monthly sales performance.
- Conduct daily one-on-one meetings with salespeople.
- Ensure daily planning of activities using the CRM system.
- Hire, motivate, counsel, and monitor sales staff performance.
- Supervise follow-up activities with customers.
- Review sales performance and develop training plans.
- Recommend dismissals if standards are not met.
- Conduct sales training meetings and ensure completion of manufacturer training.
- Collaborate on programs to increase gross profits and finance penetration.
- Hold salespeople accountable for prospecting and follow-up activities.
- Evaluate performance quarterly and annually.
- Coordinate activities with other departments.
- Assist in planning programs to help salespeople reach their goals.
Other Duties:
- Enhance the dealership's image through team efforts.
- Review performance records to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in developing advertising and promotional campaigns.
- Coordinate with other Sales Managers for professional development.
