Burrard Acura is currently seeking a Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:

1. Establish long- and short-term goals for sales staff as directed by the General Manager.
2. Guide salespeople in setting their objectives.
3. Recommend new car inventory based on sales rate and current inventory.
4. Set gross objectives for salespeople.
5. Assist in forecasting controllable expenses for the department.
6. Set and monitor weekly sales objectives.
7. Ensure understanding and enforcement of dealership policies.
8. Evaluate monthly sales performance.
9. Conduct daily one-on-one meetings with salespeople.
10. Ensure daily planning of activities using the CRM system.
11. Hire, motivate, counsel, and monitor sales staff performance.
12. Supervise follow-up activities with customers.
13. Review sales performance and develop training plans.
14. Recommend dismissals if standards are not met.
15. Conduct sales training meetings and ensure completion of manufacturer training.
16. Collaborate on programs to increase gross profits and finance penetration.
17. Hold salespeople accountable for prospecting and follow-up activities.
18. Evaluate performance quarterly and annually.
19. Coordinate activities with other departments.
20. Assist in planning programs to help salespeople reach their goals.

Other Duties:

1. Enhance the dealership's image through team efforts.
2. Review performance records to identify areas for improvement.
3. Assist in developing advertising and promotional campaigns.
4. Coordinate with other Sales Managers for professional development.
