Rapid City Transportation / b Autolux Ltd. has specialized in non-emergency medical transportation logistics for over 20 years across Ontario, providing professional, courteous door-to-door service for individuals requiring special care before, during, and after transfers.

  • Drivers receive a company vehicle and a company-paid smartphone, with all expenses covered, including insurance, maintenance, and fuel during business use. Our fleet includes late-model sedans, minivans, and wheelchair-accessible vans.

  • Typically work Monday to Friday, up to 11 hours per day, with a maximum of 14 hours. Weekly hours can range from 40 to 60 hours, with corresponding pay.
  • Weekend trips are available on a volunteer basis for additional hours. Comfort with driving after dusk is required.
  • Focus on providing safe, calm, and reliable transportation through excellent customer service, communication, and defensive driving skills.
  • Assist passengers with luggage, boarding, seat belts, and other needs.
  • Maintain real-time communication with dispatch and navigate company systems daily.
Position Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of driving experience with a valid G Driver’s License; must provide a clean driver’s abstract and a letter of experience from your insurance provider.
  • Good physical health, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and provide supporting medical documentation.
  • Preferably a non-smoker due to working with vulnerable individuals.
  • Ability to wear masks and handle sanitizing products, especially during health crises.
  • Ability to provide a current police check, including a vulnerable sector search, upon joining.
  • Valid CPR certification; the company will cover renewal costs during employment.
  • Capacity to drive for extended periods as required.
  • Comfortable using an Android smartphone and operating GPS systems.
  • Strong knowledge of regional geography, especially the Greater Toronto Area.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to recognize and support passengers with physical limitations.
  • Private, secure storage for the company vehicle when not on duty.
