DEPARTMENT : Rail Mechanical

REFERENCE : 300-08-26

SALARY : $17.75 / hour

MAJOR DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Cleaning / washing of coaches, parts and shop facilities
  • Follow prescribed safety procedures including the use of safety clothing and equipment
  • Janitorial duties as required
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Summer Term : May to August (4 months)

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Preference given to students enrolled in a full-time post-secondary program or entering full-time post-secondary studies in September 2025
  • Must be able to work full-time hours (40 hours per week)
  • Ability to work shift work and weekends (24-hour operations)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older due to the required shifts
  • Good work ethic, energetic and enthusiastic
  • Works independently with little supervision
  • Previous cleaning / labour experience an asset
  • Must be committed to Health and Safety
