Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in business development, partnerships, product management, or tech consulting.
  • Experience in managing multiple internal/external projects.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Ability to promote, influence, and drive large-scale product integrations.
  • Ability to exceed quarterly business goals within the context of channel partnerships.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional internal and external stakeholders and influence their prioritization and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Ability to think strategically about issues and develop recommendations and action plans.
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholder groups of all levels, on both technical and non-technical matters.

As a Strategic Partner Manager, you will build and enhance partnerships, influence internal and external partners, and implement strategic plans. You will work with large technology platforms and start-ups providing digital advertising solutions, helping them build new businesses or enhance existing ones.

Google Customer Solutions (GCS) sales teams are trusted advisors focusing on customer success for small- and medium-sized businesses. You will have the opportunity to work directly with business owners, helping them grow and shaping the future of innovation.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges depend on role, level, and location. Individual pay within the range is determined by location, skills, experience, and education. Your recruiter will share specific details during hiring.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maximize customer acquisition and business growth through Google’s SMB channel partners.
  • Implement processes for managing, engaging, and expanding partnerships.
  • Develop account plans focusing on creative, business-generating initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Training, Product) toward common goals with partners. Train new partners on promoting Google advertising products.
  • Forecast and report on business metrics, track progress, lead growth projects, and represent Google at industry events.
