Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre is seeking a permanent, part-time Online Learning Facilitator (6 hours daily). The position is located in Gull Lake and will commence on August 26, 2025.

Primary Responsibilities
Administrative Tasks
  • Seek support when needed (school staff) and advocate for students.
  • Follow school-based administrators' expectations for creating DLCgo accounts, new applications, requesting courses, approving course requests, course selections, drops, etc.
  • Keep accurate and timely documentation, including student records, files, timelines, marked assignments/exams, progress reports, and communications.
  • May take attendance for each period.
Supporting Learning
  • Work collaboratively with Online Teachers, Student Support Teachers, School-Based Administrators, Campus Principals, or Support Staff.
  • Ensure students have necessary resources (materials, textbooks, technology, lab supplies) as per course requirements; record and return them.
  • Orient new students to classroom procedures, login processes, and online learning expectations.
  • Supervise and demonstrate knowledge of diverse learning supports to meet student needs; clarify directions and assist with questions.
  • Adapt to changing student needs and demonstrate willingness to learn new skills.
  • Coordinate, organize, and proctor exams.
Supporting Pace and Progress
  • Update student progress tools (e.g., calendar, Excel sheets).
  • Monitor student pace, progress, and success.
