Job description

C&S Group Operations Ltd is a leader in the distribution sector of Western Canada. We pride ourselves in providing exceptional customer service with top quality products. Margranite, an importer of natural stone and porcelain slabs, is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join the existing team. The ideal candidate will mainly work with the Architect and Design community to drive sales, maintain and grow existing clients, and generate new business and project opportunities.

Prior slab product knowledge and / or construction and building material experience within a wholesale environment is an asset for the position.

Responsibilities include :

  • Show up on time every day, ready to work with a positive attitude
  • Develop and grow our market share within the Architect and Design community for the purpose of generating project specifications
  • Establish a positive, productive, and ongoing relationship with clients
  • Prepare, plan and deliver targeted and instructive product presentations
  • Manage full sales and project cycles, including monitoring and updating project development
  • Gather market feedback related to client satisfaction and new potential products and / or product ideas
  • Maintain existing and incorporate new clients into the internal CRM program
  • Efficiently and effectively manage daily communication flow with clients and internal team members
  • All other duties assigned by management

Skills and requirements include :

  • Proven experience in outside sales or business development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to travel outside of the Vancouver area to prospect and close leads if necessary
