Honorarium Position

Overview

The ASUS Review Director (External) is responsible for overseeing the course review program, which aims to promote effective, healthy studying while upholding academic integrity. This role involves liaising with students, course coordinators, and the ASUS team to facilitate valuable review sessions for undergraduates. The Director will also work on expanding the program by recruiting professors and promoting ASUS Review to various on-campus groups. This position offers an opportunity to conduct professional-level teaching sessions, fostering personal and professional growth.

Time Commitment and Remuneration

Term: May 1st, 2025 – April 30th, 2026

Hours: 4-6 hours per week

Honorarium: Awarded based on the Honorarium Grid in the Human Resources Policy (Click here). Please refer to Part 3: Hiring in the HR Policy Manual for eligibility criteria related to academic standing, work-study positions, exchange status, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Attend bi-weekly meetings with the Deputy of Supports and Resources.
  • Serve as the main liaison between developers and course instructors.
  • Promote ASUS Review to on-campus groups and actively recruit professors to start new review sessions.
  • Submit Event Planning Packages and necessary materials to the ASUS Store promptly.
  • Collaborate with the ASUS Review Director (Internal) and assist in recruiting new sessions for additional courses.
  • Prepare a transition manual and hold at least five transition meetings with the incoming Director before the end of the academic year.
