Job description

We are looking for an experienced DevOps / SRE Engineer for our client. This is a permanent position that can be remote or in-office at Toronto. Our client is a large fintech firm with a product you've likely used many times before.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

1. You Have :
2. Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade infrastructures, operations, and systems administration.
3. Familiarity with DevOps engineering practices.
4. Experience designing and implementing automations, including CI / CD pipelines.
5. Practical experience with VMWare / Nutanix HCI and/or Microsoft Azure solutions.
6. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes / Docker solutions on Public / Private Cloud Platforms.
7. Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code automations (GitLab, ARM templates, Terraform, Ansible).
8. Proficiency in coding/scripting using Python, Go, Ruby, Shell, or PowerShell.
9. Experience with operational aspects such as monitoring, centralized logging, and alerting.
10. At least 3+ years of DevOps / SRE experience.
11. Strong understanding of security best practices.
