Job description

The Wolfe Island Boat Club is a community-run, recreational boat club that offers sailing, rowing, and canoeing and kayaking for the whole family.

Incorporated in 2011 as a not-for-profit, the WIBC is run by volunteers and is generously supported by its sponsors, various municipal, provincial, and federal grants, and annual community fundraisers.

Job Description

We are currently hiring two summer Camp Counselors who will assist the Sailing Instructor with the planning and implementation of programs at the Wolfe Island Boat Club. Responsibilities include facilitating children’s camps and overseeing the ‘WIBC Book Store’.

Job Requirements

• Hourly wage: $18/hour
• Anticipated start date: June 23rd, 2025
• Qualifications may include: CANSail Certification, Paddling Instructor, Lifeguard, Current First Aid, PCOC, experienced sailor, paddler, camp counselor.
