Insurity's Next Senior Business Analyst

Our Senior Business Analyst will join the Professional Services team at Insurity where they will work to support our Sure Premium Audit and Sure Loss Control products.

They will be responsible for translating business requirements from our customers into technical requirements for our development team. This will include working directly with our developers on technical meetings as well as working directly with customers on requirements elicitation.

Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and experienced Insurance professional with a background in software. Excellent analytical and communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting is a must.

What Our Senior Business Analyst Will Do

  • Develop, analyze, and document requirements, including business, functional and nonfunctional requirements
  • Develop customer-focused documentation for software solutions (e.g. Wireframes, Use Cases, business rules, etc.)
  • Facilitate requirements and design discussions
  • Assist technical team in refinement of requirements to develop project estimates
  • Provide testing, training, and support to external customers
  • Participate in system design and configuration activities
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert
  • Stay up to date on industry and job-related trends and best practices, including reading relevant publications, articles, blogs, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned
Who We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years' experience in the Insurance Software or Insurance industries
  • 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst recommended
  • Extensive experience with software applications, including Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams
  • Experience with project management platforms such as Jira recommended
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce recommended
  • Experience working with Insurity Sure Premium Audit/Loss Control (formerly AuSum Systems) products a plus
  • Ability to travel to customer locations: up to 5%

Along with the benefits listed above, the salary range for this role is $70,000 to $137,000, commensurate with experience.
