Job Description for Front-End Associate at The Home Depot

Position Overview:

Front-end associates proactively direct customers to open registers and support them at assisted check-outs throughout the store. They excel at processing transactions accurately and efficiently by executing our GET checkout process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensures Customer Satisfaction: Using the GET Involved approach, greet each customer, engage during transactions, and thank them for their business. Demonstrate product knowledge and suggest suitable services such as Credit, Extended Warranty, Tool Rental, and Pro Services. Treat all customers and associates sincerely and minimize wait times.
  • Maintains Safety, Security, and Shrink Mitigation: Follow all safety and loss prevention policies and procedures. Implement processes designed to mitigate shrink and protect assets.
  • Effective Communication and Customer Focus: Communicate effectively and prioritize customer needs.
