Pay: $18.50–$20.00 an hour

Job Type: Fixed term contract, Temporary, Seasonal, Full-time

Shift and Schedule: Weekends as needed, Morning shift, Evening shift, Monday to Friday

Seasonal Contract: April 26 - October 18, 2025 approximately

About us: Along the Ice fields Parkway, just 5 minutes south of the Town of Jasper, you will find Becker’s Gourmet Restaurant, known for inspired gourmet meals combined with an elegant yet intimate atmosphere.

Job Details:

  • Prepare and cook full course meals and individual dishes with modifications as requested
  • Responsible for smooth delivery of meals to dining guests, maintaining food quality and consistency
  • Maintain quality and speed of output
  • Prepare each item on menus according to recipes and instruction
  • Follow proper safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices
  • Communicate clearly with co-workers and leadership team
  • Adhere to cost control guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a restaurant kitchen is required
  • Previous experience in high volume fine dining kitchen is an asset
  • Able to adapt to early morning shift start times
  • Multi-task assignments and work effectively as a team member or independently
  • Work well under pressure and in challenging situations
  • Maintain high standards of productivity and efficiency in the kitchen
  • Punctual
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use stairs, lift a max. of 50lbs, and withstand hot temperatures
