VISA 2Q99 Sound Design for Game Applications
The course will overview game sound development, including sound effects libraries, Foley, voiceover techniques, music, and interactive art. It introduces studio effects, sound manipulation, and editing via DAW software. Lectures and labs, 4 hours/week.
Face-to-face, Fall Term, Tuesdays 1700 – 2100.
Effective September 1, 2024 - $7,471.08 per half course (195 hours)
Effective September 1, 2024 - $14,942.17 per full course (390 hours).
Note: Instructors with 2-hour/week lectures are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab.
According to Article 22.01 of the Collective Agreement, duties include scheduled contact with students, lecture preparation, student consultation, grading, and course administration.
